For nearly twenty five years John has dominated the graphic art scene in Des Moines. As head of the renowned Sayles Graphic Design his work has received such accolades as inclusion in the Smithsonian Institutes' Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and the United States Library of Congress. John's latest project takes him into the world of Fine Art through a company called J. Sayles Hands on Art.

Being unveiled this Fall, his new line centers around a series of paper mache animals each designed by the artist himself. These whimsical and colorful figures, including cats, birds, dogs, lions and other creatures range in height from twelve to thirty inches. They are expected to retail for $300-$1000. Additional items will be added to the collection each season. For additional information, please contact John anytime at your convenience.
